Painless dental treatment

At Promedica's offices, we offer only safe, proven and effective forms of painless anaesthesia. Their composition and method of administration are selected for each patient individually. The anaesthetics allow painless dental treatment and are safe for pregnant women, children and patients suffering from cardiac problems.

Modern tooth treatment without pain

Painless dental treatment is the standard that patients expect today. At Promedica, we use modern anaesthesia methods such as computerised systems QuickSleeper i SleeperOnewhich allow for precise and completely comfortable administration. This makes appointments stress-free and allows patients to treat even complex cases without fear of pain.

The anaesthetics we use are safe, effective and individually tailored to the needs of each patient. They not only eliminate pain during the treatment, but also minimise discomfort afterwards. This makes treatment fast, friendly and allows you to regain a healthy smile without unnecessary stress.

Types of anaesthesia

Local anaesthesia (infiltration)

Injection anaesthesia (also known as local anaesthesia) involves an injection applied to the gum in the immediate area of the tooth to be treated. It is the fastest-acting anaesthetic that deprives the nerve endings of the gum, cheek and tongue of sensation. The advantage of traditional anaesthesia is that pain is eliminated during the procedure and for some time afterwards.

Computerised anaesthesia: SleeperOne, QuickSleeper

Computer-assisted anaesthesia allows us to control the amount of anaesthetic administered at all times. As a result, we do not feel the pain that the pressure of the fluid pushing our tissues apart causes with ordinary anaesthesia. We also do not feel the typical numbness of the lips and weakened facial expressions. The computer anaesthesia applicator has little in common with a needle and syringe. In appearance, it resembles a pen or wand. The prick is not felt by the patient and the painkiller reaches the precise area where the procedure will be carried out.

Inhalation sedation | laughing gas at the dentist

Inhalation sedation, i.e. anaesthesia with nitrous oxide (laughing gas), is a method allowing dental treatment to be carried out in a comfortable manner for the patient. Sedation is particularly recommended for people experiencing fear of a visit to the dentist's surgery.
Inhalation sedation is also recommended for children, who relax and submit to medical procedures, such as an anaesthetic injection, without much resistance, with reduced pain sensation, when the gas is administered.

Narcosis

Anaesthesia is a general anaesthetic that involves pharmacologically inducing the patient into a state of sleep. The dentist qualifies for anaesthesia by interviewing the patient and informing him or her of the anaesthetic dental treatment. Indications for anaesthetic treatment may include dentophobia or disabilities that prevent the dentist from performing the procedure under local anaesthetic. Anaesthesia is most commonly used for surgical, endodontic and implant treatment.

My daughter, aged 5, had anaesthetic treatment on 5 August, in which 4 quadrants, 1 fifth and 3 fifths were treated. The treatment was carried out successfully! Quickly and efficiently. We highly recommend it! Our son associates a visit to Promedica Będzin with great fun! Before we came to Promedica, our son was very afraid of the dentist (he got discouraged in another place and was very scared) and didn't even want to open his mouth. Thanks to the Promedica team, my son is no longer afraid at all. Without any fear, he happily sits on the hotel table and has his teeth treated, and his smile accompanies him throughout the whole visit! We would recommend to anyone who is still wondering at 100%.
